Limited Hours Available
Steve is a registered member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. As a sufferer of Fibromyalgia and Central Pain Syndrome, he has a vested interest in working with clients who are experiencing neuropathy (nerve pain) and chronic pain conditions. His treatment style focuses on long, flowing strokes that are a fusion of Swedish Massage, Facilitated Stretching and Lomi-Lomi inspired techniques applied with broad pressure tailored to your comfort level. His treatment approach tends to be very relaxing and calming with moderate pressure.
Steve has over twenty years of Martial Arts training experience through Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kickboxing. This athletic involvement has given him a deeper understanding of how the human body moves and what can be done to help keep it in peak functional condition. As more evidence shows that the pain-experience is entirely a product of the brain, Steve’s primary goal is to provide a treatment that relaxes the client’s mind as well as the body, in order to produce positive change and promote healing.
